Recording permission
The first time you press ● Record — or 🎵 import a recording — in a class, Tentaku asks you to confirm: “I have permission to record this class, or my school's policy allows it.” It asks once per class; Cancel records nothing. Recording only ever starts when you press ● Record. While it runs, the menu bar shows ● REC (on Windows, the tray icon's tooltip says it's recording) — even with the window closed.
What “permission” means depends on your school and where you are — see Recording & consent. Never leave Tentaku recording in a room you’re not in.
