Using Tentaku inside the Claude app
Connect → Claude desktop app → Install extension → double-click Tentaku-for-Claude.mcpb in your Downloads. Then in Claude: “make flashcards from today's lecture.” Claude reads your notes through its own tool-approval prompts; Tentaku's connector is read-only (apart from adding cards and notes) and never deletes anything.
Claude reads your lecture data only through the Claude app’s own tool-approval flow; Tentaku’s connector is read-only except for adding flashcards and appending notes, and it never deletes anything.
The Connect tab shows the Claude tile only when the Claude desktop app is installed on your computer.
When you use the connector, Claude reads your notes through the Claude app, so that text is processed by Anthropic like anything else you type into Claude. Tentaku’s own AI features still run on the AI you connected in Settings.
Other AI apps
The same connector works with other AI apps on your computer: Gemini CLI, Cursor, VS Code and LM Studio. Open Connect → More AI apps, follow the steps for your app and paste the settings snippet Tentaku shows (the other app runs the connector on this computer with Node.js; Tentaku never edits another app’s settings). Then ask that app about your lectures. Tentaku’s connector reads your notes, can add cards and notes, and never edits or deletes.
What the app reads is processed by that app’s AI provider under your account. With LM Studio it stays on your computer only if the model you run there is local. Privacy
